'Bogunville' Cocoa
Cocoa has been grown in Bogunville Islands from 1930s by European settlers. The Island itself has undergone major transfromation in the eighties with mining as the mainstay of the island, and the enused resisitance from the indigenous people threw out the mining. Unfortunately along with this all the interaction with the outside world was reduced for a long time. it is only recently the farming and harvesting of cocoa and coconut has returned to Bogunville and a sustainable harvest of this crops bring in necessary money to the woman and children of the Bogunville.
